Buddy Time

Everyday after lunch we have "Buddy Time"
Our Y4/5 buddies from Room 13 and Room 10 help us with our reading, sight words, spelling and letters.
We build our reading mileage by re-reading the book that we read with the teacher in the morning.

Our buddies work from a checklist that is specifically tailored to each child. The checklist might look something like this...

Buddy Checklist
Letters
Letter Sounds
Sight Words
Spelling       /5
Book
When reading talk about what happened in the beginning, middle and end of the story.

See the pictures below of us working with our buddies.

Welcome Callum

Welcome to school Callum.
You have made a fantastic start. It is great to see you get excited when you learn something! Keep up the excellent work.
