Ask your child questions about the story after listening. Encourage your child to tell you about what happened in the beginning, middle and end of the story.
SPELLING
When a student can spell a full Essential Spelling List correctly they will receive a sticker on their spelling certificate. Spelling certificates are kept in the students' portfolios.
Practise spelling Essential List 1 at home with your child.
When your child can spell List 1 correctly and consistently move to List 2. We have some children working on List 2 already in the Super Seahorse Classroom.
