Congratulations to our new class captains!

These two young girls are inclusive, respectful and responsible making them excellent role models for Room 2. Well done Kiara and Joanna!

Term 4 Week 2

Wow we have been busy in Room 2!

We are working with Room 7 and collecting recyclables to make musical instruments for our inquiry. This week we decided what instruments to make and what materials we would use. We have been designing our instruments too.

We have also been making the most of the weather and working on our fitness.

Crazy Caterpillars

We made some beautiful caterpillars at school today! 

We developed our fine motor skills by using scissors to cut out the caterpillars.

Here's Gianna practicing her numbers to ten.

We also had a go at colouring inside the lines!

Summer has Come to Room 2!

In room 2 we are learning to slip, slop, slap and wrap. 

                       Ziya and Jenna Mae are learning to be sun smart!

We made the most of the sunshine by developing our fundamental movement skills outside. These skills include jumping, skipping, throwing, balancing, hitting the ball with a bat, crawling and hopping. 

Congratulations to Wiremu who got to take home our newest friend, Mrs. Brown Bear!

Mrs Brown Bear likes to go home with children who are good listeners. Well done, Wiremu!

Congratulations to Luka and Kiara for being awarded Mrs. Brown Bear and Mr. Hamster. Mr. Hamster and Mrs. Brown Bear like to go home with children who try their best at school. This means trying to achieve your learning goals and using our school values, respect, responsibility and inclusiveness.
